New piggy- Has Lice
So, I am blessed to have a new piggy.
Charlie.
Immediately after I got him from his previous owner, I took him to my vet.
Healthy is all aspects except he has lice. I was so upset for him. I had visited him a few times and I looked closely but never saw anything. Vet found eggs when looking under the microscope.
He was started on Ivermectin. Had his first shot today and I have to take him back in 2 weeks.
Of course, I already had him set for a 21 day quarantine, but now I need to know what all I should be doing to make sure George and Patch are not infected.
I have them in different rooms. I know not to wear the same clothes when handling them. I know to wash my hands.
I want to spend good quality bonding time with Charlie, but want to be safe.
I would appreciate any constructive advice!

I think you have it covered. Wash hands, separate rooms, and change your clothes. maybe make sure their bedding doesn't come in contact of course. I would wash everything more frequently. Maybe I and overly paranoid but when my pigs had lice I washed EVERYTHING twice as much. I was constantly worrying they would re-catch it.
