Torn Ear and Broken Tooth
Help! My guinea Pig Squirt has recently broken his top tooth, It isn't broken to the gum but will it grow back? He seems fine but I am worried. (I think he broke it by pulling on the bars on the cage, he always seems to be biting on it and pulling)
Also, since his buddy Orlando passed away :( R.I.P ) He has been with my other guinea Pig Maxi, however they began fighting and we separated them a plank of wood down the centre of the cage as we only have one cage at the moment. They have found ways to climb over though and they always seem to be alternating sides. They seem to have been fine but I have noticed that Squirt has torn his ear. There was no blood but it has ripped along the bottom and part is dangling off :( I don't know what to do. Should I leave it alone? Should I bathe it or should I take him to the vets to have the part that is hanging off removed? Also should I separate them completely?
Please I need help on what to do about his teeth and ear.

Re: Torn Ear and Broken Tooth
You'll need a vet to remove the part hanging off.
What size is your cage? If it's too small they will continue to fight.
The broken tooth will most likely grow back.

Re: Torn Ear and Broken Tooth
Thank You but the part of the ear that was hanging off seems to have fallen off by it's self as it has gone but there is no blood. His tooth has already started to grow back :) I am considering moving them into separate cages if they continue to fight.
Thanks Though

What size cage is it? If it is a god size then you should seperate them, but if its too small that may be the reason for fighting.

Even if you separate them their cages may be too small. Have you looked at the cage size standards? How big is your cage?
