Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
One of my boars (5 months old) has a lump between mouth and nose. It is aprox 1cm x 1cm. It looks like it might be dried blood but have tried cleaning it with a moist cotton bud but nothing has come away. he has not been put off his food and is still chatty with the other pigs (they are all divided but can see and touch each other through the cage divides.) Could it be a bite mark? I am concerned but he still seems active enough not to warrent a vets visit and am enquiring here incase anyone knows what it might be? I tried to take a photo last night but a combination of him moving around and poor lighting made it impossible. |

Thank you for your reply and time also but thankfully the day after i posted this message the lump fell off and there are no signs of any scaring or discomfort around the area. it could just have been a bit of dried pellet but i wasn't risking pulling it off by hand incase it was something serious. Anyway, thank you once again but all's well that ends well! |
