I was wondering if any of you UK board members would know of any good
cavy vets in London? (Preferrably in the South / South East), as I'm extremely disappointed in the vet I had before, and as a result I do not trust them enough to take Puff or her babies there. (I was a new
GP owner and I lost one of my piggies because the vet failed to see what I know now to have been painfully obvious signs of an URI (laboured breathing, lethargy, sneezing and her nose was literally pouring with discharge... and she was pregnant. Poor baby, I feel beyond guilty that I did not know enough to take her for a second opinion when that vet said she was fine).
I'm a student so split my time between London and Southampton, and I'm very pleased with the vet in Southampton, but I also need a vet back in London, just in case they come down sick when I'm back visiting my parents.
Like I said, South East London would be perfect but I can travel further afield if its necessary as I have great parents who also dote on the babies and would drive me there if they had to.
Any help would be great :)
