Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 I have 2 bonded boys, Milo and Pepper. Milo is about 6 months and Pepper 4 months. They have both had healthy vet checkups recently, but the vet put them on an antibiotic for a cough I had heard from them. They were on Bactrim 2x a day for 10 days. Well, theyre still coughing. Not often. Maybe 1-3 times a day per pig. There are no symptoms aside from this pesky cough! They are the same active crazy boys they've always been. I have noticed that both boys cough more often when/right after eating. Could it be possible that healthy pigs just cough on an almost daily basis for no good reason?? (for the record, they are on fleece bedding and we use oxbow hay and pellets) |

You said they cough when eating or right after...maybe they're just being piggies and eating too fast! HaHa! Sometimes, I hear a little cough from mine right when they're eating, too! Today I heard it when he was drinking! I said,"Uh Huh...drinking so fast, you're making yourself choke, aren't you?'...and the look I got, I swear he understood me! |
