So Pheonix is going to the vet again tomorrow afternoon. It seems that its always something with him. I've heard someone coughing for a day or so but couldn't figure out who and this morning I'm pretty sure I heard it from Pheonix. I decided I would weigh him just to see and he has lost 58g in a little over a week. If I could just get him healthy for a little while it would make me so happy. He's such a great little guy.
He has crusty eyes sometimes and others not. He seems to be eating normally. Hopefully we caught something early. At least I know he'll be living on his own now. Intros failed (Pheonix is a very big bully despite being a lot smaller than the other two boys) so I'm just going to set up a larger cage for him. He seems fine on his own so long as he gets a little extra attention. He can also see the other pigs.
Keep us in your thoughts. Any advice would be nice. I knew Skinny Pigs were prone to illness but a little while of good health would be much appreciated. |
