Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 I'm note sure if I sound totally stupid, but can conjunctivitus live on objects such as toys and hidies? My pigs currently have an eye infection... so will I need to chuck out all their hidies etc to make sure they don't catch it again? They are made from grass/hay so it's not like I can as clean them as you would with plastic ones. Hope someone can help! |

If they were plastic or cloth, or something that could be easily washed/disinfected, I'd just say to wash them thoroughly, but things that can't be disinfected should probably just be tossed. Whether or not it's necessary, I'm not sure, but I'd rather be out a few bucks on hidey houses and toys than have an infection keep coming back. |
