So Lucky's eyes are getting crusty and her coat is kinda rough. I'm suspecting a URI but can't get to the vet till Monday. If it is a URI, do you think she'll be fine until then? Also, how much do you think the vet visit will cost?       |

If at all possible I'd get her to a vet sooner. Pigs can go downhill so quickly, especially by the time that we notice the symptoms. Have you been weighing her regularly? If so, has she lost any weight? As far as cost: it varies so greatly with each office. You can call around though for quotes. |

I don't have scale to weigh her with and Monday is the earliest. She actually looks like she's been gaining weight. |

Is there an emergency vet you can take her to at all? The next time you're at the supermarket you should really look at getting her a kitchen scale to weigh her with. They're only ten dollars and they're invaluable for catching illnesses early on. |

The thing is, I have no way of getting to the vet before Monday. Tomorrow, it's closed because it's the fourth of July, and Sunday my mom is going to Atlantic City with a bunch of my family. My sister is away on vacation, my brother works on Sunday, and the Vet is an half an hour away and sadly, it's illegal to ride your bike on the highway. lol I'll definitely get a scale. |

Oh, I forgot about the holidays. I'll be keeping my fingers crossed. Make sure she keeps eating. If she starts to eat less you'll have hand feed her. Good luck and well wishes. |
