Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
My new Guinea Pig has been eating fine and drinking. His poops are all normal and so is his urine from the look of it. But today I noticed one eye being less bulgy then the other and some sort of crust on the fur around his eye. Could this be a sign of a URI. I am getting him checked at the vet tomorrow, hopefully it does not cost alot if he is infected because I still need to buy him new food and hay and a new water bottle. I am also buying materials for a C&C cage. Needless to say I will be short on cash. Of course if it is an infection I will lay off of the C&C cage for awhile. |

I realised that it is the same eye I wiped when I thought the white milky stuf was bad, but that its just used for cleaning. I wiped it with a dry kleenex, would that bother the eye and maybe be the cause of this? I will try to get a good picture but he hides alot so :/ |

I'm bumping this up because I have the same question. One of my pigs eyes looks smaller. He tends to squint it a lot... I just noticed it. I'm thinking maybe he poked it somewhere? Don't know where but just a thought! |
