Penis stuck out?

So I was hanging out with Duncan today and noticed his penis was out. It hasn't gone back in yet. I'm going to check periodically to see if maybe I'm overreacting, if not I'll make an appointment as soon as the vet opens (he's acting normal so I'm assuming it's not an emergency unless I hear otherwise).

Any ideas? I don't see any hay or hair stuck. He's pooping and peeing fine. Should I worry or is he just being a boy?

He's about 5 years old and neutered.

Ok perhaps it's just dried seamen and I'm a overprotected mother. I had searched for threads, but I just looked at the impaction pictures again and I realized I'm probably wrong. It's clearish white, so it can't be the penis, right?

So, sorry if this whole thread isn't too useful. Can I use the it's Monday excuse?

If it's not his penis, it sounds like it is boar glue. I've not had the joy of dealing with the stuff yet as my boys are still young, but it's called glue for a reason apparently. I read up on it so I'm prepared for dealing with it when my boarlets become men. I believe warm water and mineral oil should be used to gently loosen and remove it.

Good call! I tried hot water and eventually loosened it up. We're back in business.

This pig however is the biggest con man ever. After laying down and looking pathetic didn't stop me, he decided to poop slowly every time I'd flip him over (never any other time). It's a good thing he's cute!

Well done! I can't stop laughing at the thought of him lying there calmly pooping while you're dealing with that stuff though!

It's good to know the tips I read work. I'm certainly not looking forward to the day I've to put them into action myself.

He was pooping on purpose too! It only happened when I'd flip him over. Since I finished, he hasn't had to go. Somehow now he's curled up on my lap, I guess I'm a sucker.
