Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0
Hi , I am new to this forum and I am thinking my little guinea pig has diabetes. She is drinking and peeing a whole bunch and has lost a some weight she seems fine otherwise I mean she is so thirsty she drinks a bottle of water in a day and it's prett big for a piggy, I am taking her to the vet on Friday. My questions is does anyone know how much the oral and insulin meds usally cost. I would also like to know stories about anybody who has diabetic piggs and how they found out. Thanks Devin |

It's more likely she has teeth problems, or bladder stone or something else. But you can do some research at Guinea Lynx :: A Medical and Care Guide for Your Guinea Pig Handfeed in the meantime Guinea Lynx :: Hand Feeding |

Not Ranked. Helpful AND tactful post? : 0 Thanks for the info I looked that up on the Cavy Medical Guide and she seems to be not have any pain when peeing or blood, I think she was just having a bad day that day, but it dosen't hurt to worry about my piggie. I will an keep an eye on her though. Thanks Devin |
