I am reading posts furiously about soft poop and will try the healthy pig poop "cocktail" I also want to get benebac or acidophilus. Can I purchase "real" benebac from a pet store or is it only via a vet? I don't trust much that you can buy at a pet store...

Re: benebac You can find it in petstores, though you might have to search a bit. I know they usually sell small amounts of the gel for puppies and kittens, but it can be difficult to find one that's specific for smaller animals. Alot of pet stores do have it available to them, though, and will order it for you if you ask.

Re: benebac Go to GNC or a health food place or even a drug store. They should carry a probiotic powder. It's acidophilous (spelling?) powder. But it depends on what the problem is. It may or may not help.
