| Frankie not going poopoo? I gave him a cage cleaning and since I've put him back he has gone wee but he hasn't gone poopoo? I don't think it's an impaction issue as I checked for that a day or so ago and he didn't seem to have any impacted mass. He's eating, drinking normally, doesn't seem in pain or ill health just not going poopoo? Maybe I didn't check the right place and it is an impaction? I heard that's not likely since he's still well not a baby but a fairly young boy. He's usually a healthy pooper. I haven't changed anything in his diet, I ran out of hay couple days ago and my shipment of bluegrass should come Monday. Is this a bad problem? Is a vet call in order? | Re: Frankie not going poopoo? Can you get a small bag of hay to tide him over in the meantime? They need a constant supply of hay. You may want to check for impaction again but if he's really young, there should be no issues yet. Maybe he just hasn't needed to go or he's eating them. In case you or others reading this don't know, they have special poos called ceceal poos that they eat directly from their bums. |
