Question Iver-ON Pour on Ivermectin Inquiry?

Hi everyone. After visiting my local feed store today, the lady said to try this stuff and gave me it for free. She told me to let her know what I think and if it is good she will get it in. I guess from what she told me, it is just like IVOMEC topical but less expensive. I mean I'd rather pay fifty dollars then 212.00 for IVOMEC.
Here is all of the info on the box and other info. Please notify me of what you think before I try it on my pigs since they are due for their prevention for the month.
IVER-ON
Contains 10 550 lb Doses
Ivermectin Pour On For Cattle
Contains 5mg Ivermectin/ml
Internal and External Parasiticide for cattle

Kills Roundworms, including brown stomach worm.
LungWorms, Grubs, Sucking Lice, Biting Lice, Mange mites, Horn flies.

Warning Not for use in HUMANS>

Med-Pharmex inc Pomona, Ca 91767
Abada 200-299 FDA APPROVED

Recommended Doese is 1ml per 22lb of body weight

Then it reads all storeage directions, and emergency directions ifit comes in contact with eyes or skin and storeage directions

NET CONTENTS 8.5FL OUNCES )250ML

The main concerns of mine are, number one it is bright blue and Im worried about coat staining.
Two-is i have no clue how to dose it.
Thanks for help

Re: Iver-ON Pour on Ivermectin Inquiry?

No One ever heard of this stuff or knows about it?
If it helps it came from a purina feed store in pa. The blue staining effect I was worried about is only for the first few seconds, once it dries on thier skin its clear. I tried a tiny drop on my neices pet piggy who is solid white.
ANy help and dosing suggestions are apperciated. Im not sure because this is not concentrated like Ivomec and others. This is diluted to 5mg per ml
Just wondering? THanks all

It really appears to be exactly the same thing as Ivomec Pour-on, just like any other generic Ivomec.

Ah thank you so much paula. I wasnt sure what to think. I tried to ask a few rescues online and they never heard of anything that was blue. Im gonna try it and see how it works. I mean it's ivomec so It should work. Thanks for letting me know I feel better now.
