Louisville vets?

I was wondering if there is anyone from the Louisville area that knows a good vet to take my guinea pigs to? Thanks ahead of time!

Re: Louisville vets?

Years ago I lived in Elizabethtown and the few times my pigs needed vet care I took them to Louisville Vet Specialty and ER on Shelbyville Rd.

*Then* I was very happy with their service/treatment.

Louisville, KY vets

Hi everyone. I asked this same question on the medical board but wanted to try my luck again to see if I can get the names of a few good vets in the area and do a little research on them. I just moved to Louisville and am in need of a vet so I was wondering if you know of a good vet that will see guinea pigs? My pig may be needing surgery for his kidney stones and I am very concerned about taking him to a new place. Thanks ahead of time!

Please don't crosspost your questions in different forum areas. This thread has been moved to Medical and merged with your other thread about the same thing.

Other than that, I don't know of vets in different areas. Your best source may be guinealynx.info.

Re: Louisville vets?

I know I am not suppose to "cross post" but I am just trying to find a vet who will actually take the time to help me. I am new to this area and my male pig has been bleeding now in his urine for nearly a month. I was turned down by an emergency clinic who "used to" see pigs and been very blown off by others. He cant seem to get any help around here and is in pain. I can now see that Louisville has some terrible veterinarians.
