im scared please help if you can

hello my name is amanda and i have a male guinea pig he is almost 3 and i was trimming his nails the other day and noticed that one of his nipples has turend brown. I have another male guinea pig he is almost 2 but his nipples are pink so i am worried my vet costs 100 per visit and so i am checking here first i will take him in if nessasary but i dont want to be the woman who always takes them in just because im scared. so if anyone could please help me id aprreciate it and so would honey thanks

What color is the hair around his nipple? Is it swollen or bleeding or anything?

Do you have another piggie. If you do, your guinea piggie might be bruised. Your piggie might have been bruised by a hidy-house or a toy.

Don't worry about being the person who always takes their pigs in for what turns out to be nothing serious - it's far better than being the woman who doesn't take them in when they really need to go.

What does his other nipple look like? Is it just the one or both that seem to be affected?
