I agree with Hamtaro. Training not only shows their intelligence, but it gives a better communication between both people and pigs. I think training them helps us better understand eachother, we are learning from eachother. |

We know pigs are trainable! We're just saying that almost half their posts are links... |

This site is for learning about pigs not posting videos. I know I enjoyed them but this site's not all about posting them. |

We all have posted something "non educational", LOTS of it. Many of the threads here are about something cute a piggy did, or a new pig we got..along of lines of things like that. And actually, this could easily be considered educational. It's not like they are being posted in the Medical section. It's in the section of Links, which exsists for the reason of which it's being used for. I think it's great of her to show these videos. It doesn't matter if less than half of her actual posts are videos. It just means there are that many videos to share. It says nothing as well about how much she reads on here. |

I don't see how these videos take away from anything else on the site (and I find them interesting and entertaining to boot!). |

I tried training my piggy and first I have to teach my piggy to follow the treat, and mine just moves his head a lil' and gives up trying to get it :P. But if he does manage to get it, he's so strong and pulls it all! |

I think the problem about the post is that there are so many through out the thread and not confined to one place. Also some where the same as previous ones. Also I thought posting outside sites like youtube was in violation of this sites rules. Correct me if I am wrong. |

Hey Hamtaroplanet, I love the name. Suprisingly one of my guinea pig is called Hamtaro. The vet thought it was a very unusual name. He has a patch on his eye like the cartoon. I have to admit, i really enjoyed your videos. I am suprised the moderators were not pleased but i guess rules are rules. I think it is lovely you provide such lovely stimulation for your guinea pigs. And i thought my guinea pigs were spoilt. I love your hamsters too! This is a great thread to show others guinea pigs are intelligent animals. I have met so many people that think guinea pigs are just pooping machines. I get so disgusted by their comments.Keep up the good work but maybe not here for the moderators |
