Hi folks we just finished our C&C Cage its a 2 level with 1 level of cubes under it for a base. We have a few questions. Strangly enough the piggys seem to love laying in the area's with carefresh and hay... Sigh... |

Well one method of getting them to go to the top level would be to put some hay or veggies up their, but where they can see it. Then they will want the food and cautiously climb the ramp. This is what I did with my pig and he got used to it eventually. But dont just put all the food up there and leave them, you need to make sure they are eating so just try this for several minutes then if they dont go up put the food on the main level, and try again tomorrow. The piggies are now running up and down the stairs!!!! WOOHOOO... All it took was one figuring it out and the other one followed. HA! Still trying to figure this fleece thing out, the cage gets messy from hay gotta figure that part out too... |
