Breeder's Cages

Iv'e visted a few breeder's pages and I was shocked at the space their pigs had. To me, this was the bare minnimum.

Quote from this picture: "I use these big cages under the shelves for sows and litters."

Is it just me, or is this the minnimum these people could be providing?

Re: Breeder's Cages

Look instead of a "puppy mill" its a "piggy mill" sad really...Although I must say they look to be healthy, and the cages are clean..But still not enough room..Does it state anywhere on the site that they let them out to play or anything?

in the last picture it looks like there aren't even any sides on the side of the tube don't you think that the piggies could fall out?

Re: Breeder's Cages

I don't really think they give a crap if they fall out. Only 60 more days and she'll have five more. This is absolutely sickening. Sure, the cages look clean and there aren't any dying pigs(from what we see) but from what I can tell that's about 7 pigs in a cage not even a quarter of the size of my 2 boys cage.
