The guy who said that actually isn't that mean. He's a good friend a mine. I tell him he's too stuck up to live in Toronto (he lives a good hour and a half away from work just to live anywhere but Toronto) and he teases me about being a guinea-pig hugging vegitarian.

I wish I could make my actions conform to my beliefs but I just can't. I *like* my leather shoes and I enjoy eating meat. I've just come to accept that some things are cruel and I can't do anything about it. I would love to have the willpower to be vegan. True vegans, though, I believe, would never state that they use products not tested on animals. They wouldn't use any products full stop. ALL ingredients have been tested on animals at some point. If we were to take it that far then we'd have to stop washing with anything but water.

Oh, and I like the smell of my pillow - it smells of sleep - LOL!
