Re: Awful!

hamsters are quite hardy animals, i'd be very surprised if his legs were broken. i used to do this with my hamster when i was around seven, i didnt know any better. but he was always friendly, didnt seem to affect him emotionally

That's cruel. Even a child should know how to handle a delicate animal.

Re: Awful!

Hi,
New here...I watched the video, sad really...people should teach there children to handle animals better, but for some parents, pets are only bought to "entertain" their kids to keep their kids out of their hair..

Sadly, I doubt contacting the site will do anything about the video..

I have 3 children, twins who are 4 and a son who is 3, and along with the kids I have a zoo, of 4 cats, 2 dogs, bunny and 2 G. pigs...

You have to teach your children to be compassionate to pets and all animals it is not something that is just learned...I teach my kids how to handle our pets and how to be nice, I sit there and supervise them when they are holding any of our pets...

Sadly this looks to be an older child, that sheer stupidity took over, and "thought" it would be "cool" to make a music video of her hamster dancing...

I'm sure it didnt harm the hamster, but you never know..We where not there to witness the "hamster dance"...

People and parents should understand it is a privledge to have pets in their lives and have them as a part of their family...But many do not, and do not look at pets as family members, but some look at them as an animal...and nothing else, except for a distraction for their children, again to get them out of the parents hair....Too sad!
