Re: What color will her babies be?

Cavymama I agree but there will be those people who won't even care despite complications. They'll just find another sow and keep on because it's life. ::shakes head:: If only people could really walk a mile in a pregnant guinea pigs shoes and see how they feel. I think a lot of people here were trying to make the OP see through the eyes of a guinea pig and how she would feel if she was the guinea pig. Unfortunately some people just don't care and can't empathize with another human being let alone a defenseless animal. Only hope that she will wisen up.

Re: What color will her babies be?

It is too bad we cannot just say "Fine, you go ahead and do that. Have fun when things go wrong!" because the whole bad situation involves an innocent party. *sighs*

I really appreciate the tact of this post..It gets the point across without attacking. Thank you

No.

I said I agree not to breed piggies but death is not one good reason because its natural-in fact everyone could die at any moment, and not only when giving birth, there are LOTS another good reasons like reasons that you gave to me on the previous post. Everyone knows when it comes to giving birth any creatures could die, the reason is too general for me.

Thread starter case is one case where she/he bought pregnant sow. So what should she do with the sow? Throw her on the street when she knew her sow is pregnant? Or take it back to the place she bought it and tell the seller "i don't want this sow because it's pregnant". Is that what you want?

When the sow already pregnant, could thread starter prevent it? What she could do is only take care of the sow and providing the vet.

Also strongly apreciate this post and really any post that though being against breading realizes that it DOSE ocasiionally happen and that proper advice must be given so that mother and piggies can be taken care of. Reguardless of how they came into the world (hopfully accidentaly)
