an attention whore? firstly, do you live in fort collins? because i could swear i came up with that, secondly, in the dissection thread, i just made my point, and people have been hounding me ever since. as for this thread, i dont agree with your action against savetoby.com, you dont need to protect people who are too stupid to see through such a scam.

I've seen you expressing your interesting 'view points' in many threads, and some of them are contradictory statements, and others seem to ask for a fight. We're hounding you because it seems as though every word that comes out of your mouth is meant to cause trouble.

Sparky, you just don't get it. You obviously can read because you keep missing the point. I am NOT, let me repeat NOT, trying to protect the people who are actually giving him money. I AM, AM, AM, trying to pretect the animals down the line who fall victim to someone who didn't know this was a joke. You know...the person who sees this and says "COOL!" but takes it a bit further and does actually kill an animal.

It is people like you who ONLY look to the here and now, and not to the actions that can come later on, who promote much of the cruelty. By not accepting responsibility for your actions now, and the outcomes, be it tomorrow, or 10 years down the line, you are condemning the immpressionable by giving them bad information, even if it was a joke.

You and your "opinions" disgust me.

No, we're trying to stop what might be considered a CRIMINAL action. There are laws against swindling and extortion. I object to swindling and extortion. Not to mention all the animal rights issues DaCourt brings up.

I disagree with your INaction against savetoby.com. I really think you should take the time to see what is inherently wrong with a site like this.

You are right Chad, I am also against the illegal side of this as well, but I was trying to get through to Sparky, that there are some people who care about people, other than themselves. I have a headache...I don't think I can keep doing this.

well whatever flips your flapjack, i dont see a problem with savetoby.com, if everybody copies it, as you say, then it will lose it's impact and will stop making money, so its not going to cause a slippery slope effect and lead to the mass death of poor, cute little animals. my opinion, i have a right to it, stop making personal attacks

I'm not trying to bring anything personal into the matter, I am simply not understanding your logic. As you say, only "imbeciles" would fall for it, and only those who are "malleable" would fall for it. So, therefore, according to you, we should do nothing about this situation at all because people should just know better? Heck, let's remove all the disclaimers on everything, the warning signs from hazardous products, and let's take off the railings on balconies too, because people should "know better" than to do anything stupid with them. I just don't get it.

warning labels are neccesary, so that something that you wouldnt assume is dangerous can self-proclaim its danger. railings are neccesary because anybody can accidentally fall, any person with a shred of common sense can see through this, nobody could accidentally give money, therefore the analogy is irrelevant

Please point out wexactly where on this post I displayed a sense of self-importance. Because I choose to argue with your post it makes me have a sense of over-bearing pride? You're the one trying to put yourself above others by pointing fingers and talking about how "animal lovers are so malleable" and how "they're all just making fools of ourselves".
