I really don't know if it has anything to do with the movie but I am sure the economy has something to do with it. Since posting pictures of my cage and a friendly warning on my local craigslist I have recieved several e-mails from people wanting me to take in thier guineas. I just cannot do another cage to take the boys and the one girl I would consider lived too far away (2 hours) I find it very sad.   |

Instead of reposting ads like this here, it seems it would be more effective to reply to the OP with an answer to the question she's asking (is there a local rescue?) or some basic info on guinea pigs. Because I live on the other side of the country, I haven't the slightest idea where any rescue organizations are in her area, but I did send her some links to this site and a couple others so that she'll at least have the basics on caring for them for the time she has them. |

That was actually a big reason for posting the link here. Even though I live in the area, I could only find a guinea pig rescue two hours away. I am new to the area, so I was hoping someone could come along that would have some suggestions for the lady. |

Have a Heart Guinea pig rescue is located in Florence NJ. I did a google map from 72 upper west side NY to Florence NJ and it's approx 1 hour and 23 minutes away, I'm gonna PM her now with this info. |
