I saw this add, and it made me really sad. There were so many pigs on that site. I wanted to know, is this person right in saying hairless guinea pigs' hair falls off as he matures? I don't plan on buying the pig, but I am concerned for his welfare. http://www.hoobly.com/0/0/962696.html http://www.hoobly.com/0/0/960193.html |

I have never heard of something like this, but it's possible the piggy might have some sort of a deficiency. I'm going to look it up and see what I can find out about it. |

If that guinea pig is a Baldwin, he is losing hair like he should - although at 4 months he should be done shedding (by 2 months they should be done) - but I would not despair too much about that so much as the breeder wants an "unrelated" female for trade ... that is concerning. |

Thats very true, I didn't even notice that. He's probably a breeder or something. That is so disgusting tho, how do you trade one animal for another? Either you own it or you don't! You just can't go trading living beings like that. Other wise, I would have traded in my brother a long time ago >.> |

The pig looks like a Baldwin. But what's more disturbing is that he/she wants to trade guinea pigs. |

I am very worried about the "guinea pig trade" Obviously a beeder... You can't "trade" animals- do they look like trading cards?? This stuff is really wrong. |
