I'm sorry, but indeed it only takes one person to make an overpopulation probem for animals. If you have a girl pig an a boy pig, they make babies. They can have up to 8 babies at a time. You keep breeding them and they have more babies. And then when the babies get old enough, they make babies. Soon enough, not only do you have a population problem, but you also created genetic problems too because of incest breeding. With those genetic problems, you can also put a lot of pigs at risk. I really hope you stop breeding. If not for over population but for the sake and health of your pigs. Have you not taken a good look at one of your pregnant pigs and felt sympathy for them for having to waddle around or even have trouble walking? I'm a mother myself and I can tell you that giving birth is no walk in the park. I wouldn't wish labor pain on anybody. Just think of pigs going to through it al the time for no reason other then to give your friends some pigs.

No you don't need to apologise to us, you should apologise to your guinea pigs they have no choice but to breed because you make them.

i am only breeding two of my female pigs . Also i am not breeding cousins and families together .Also i cant change the wold ... god made birth ! Whatever i god my answer ! Thanx to everyone who helped me ! Bye ...

Why are you lying about breeding?
You started off saying you weren't, then you claim you're just doing it for your friends.
I would like to inform you of this, where there is pet stores selling guinea pigs, there is unwanted guinea pigs.
Family's who buy guinea pigs on impulse often rehome their pigs when they find them boring.
So, now that you are creating lives to give to your friends, your friends will not look for the guinea pigs in the classified adds.

That is not life. That is life in the hands of someone how doesn't care about life. We are not creators, we are part of the created. Life is animals doing their own thing in the wild on their own time, and ceraintly not in a closed space.

I must say, I'm pretty hurt. I was genuinely trying to help someone in need for the sake of trying to do something good an hope that they are using it for good. I can't believe, after all the fuss you made in another thread that you could still come here and ask for help on something that your doing which is wrong. You're using this thread for the wrong reason and I know that T never wanted something she created to be used in such a way. I know the language barrier is difficult for you, but it doesnt take much to know that you don't care about what we are trying to say so why should we continue to help you? We have nothing but health and well being for your pigs in mind, but clearly that is nothing to you.

Twilight star ! There are not classified adds in Greece ! there are no breeders ! Every pet shop has 1-2 guinea pigs per year ! We have only 1000 guinea pigs in greece and every pet shop is buying guinea pigs from other countries ! I am not lying ! I am breeding , i was breeding and i will keep breeding my pigs ! Stop telling me not to ... I dont care what you think ! i only made an answer ! if you dont want to answer to that question dont say anything !!!!!!!

Is this statistics your talking or is this something you think you know?

We help because it's a nice thing to do and gives people a good feeling to help someone else out. But like I said, it's a slap in the face if it's not being used for good. Make your decision, but I don't think many others will want to help you in the future, and if they do, it's because they're thinking of your pigs. At least someone is thinking about them.

No that is not life. But if you think life is forcing innocent creatures to breed in captivity then I guess you are rite. Animals breed in the wild in order to survive.

I'm sorry but your not going to get only the answers to just your questions. People here have a lot of passion for these and other animals. We care only about the welfare and well being of them and it clearly states that all over this website. You came to play with fire and got burnt, so to speak. Whether or not it was intentional. You cannot come onto a website that is against what you are doing/believe and expect people to play nice. In some cases, people are not so nice when people do something like that. We strongly believe breeding is wrong.

I don't think you will get any nice answers. You purposely bred your guinea pigs and that is something NO ONE agrees with on this forum.

God made birth. God tries to stop death. That's what happens every time a breeder like you (I don't care what you say, you are a breeder) has another litter, shelter pigs die.

It would be nice if it will be a low to say breeding guinea pig is illegal ! I somebody breed a pig will go to jail or pay ! Only to countries that guinea pigs are in overpopulation!

Well you are well on your way to making quite a few irrepairable mistakes...

Hmm. Every problem comes from America? Do you have facts and statistics to prove every single problem has generated in America? I doubt it, since although America has made some decisions I definitely don't approve of, I still live here and know that not every problem comes from this paticular nation. Its impossible.

If you breed so thoughtfully and carefully, you wouldn't come here for advice-you should know it in advance. I don't care how or where or when you breed, you still breed, and that in itself is wrong, I don't care how few guinea pigs there are in Greece. Because when it comes down to it, the animals are hurting, not you.
