Re: I knew he was blind BUT!

I'm so sorry for your loss, guinea gurl. One of our rabbits past away last July, but at least we had 8 months to prepare (she had cancer). Be sure to give the remaining rabbit plenty of attention as she might get depressed.

Re: I knew he was blind BUT!

Whew! It has taken me almost an hour to read this whole thread, and I must say some of it has been amusing and a few parts frustrated me a little. I'm not going to comment on any of the major arguments that have taken place here, because I think everyone has heard enough of the fighting, and I don't want to cause anymore arguments! But I will say that I am happy to see that everyone is back to a calmer talk with out all the name calling and everyone getting annoyed with the little things (such as grammar

KmKrazy, was that hinted at me? WELL, I NEVER... nah, just joking with you! Yes, this whole thread has been filled with plenty of 'silly' arguments, but everything's pretty much cleared up now.

So, ten constructive comments makes one incredibly rude comment acceptable? I don't think so. You wouldn't speak like that to someone in person, I don't see why you should be able to on a forum.

Re: I knew he was blind BUT!

K, saying "I doubt it" is not "incredibly rude."

However, for being the self-appointed politeness police, this comment "Thanks very much for that constructive contribution to the conversation." is condescending and hostile.

Also, after some name-calling, this comment "If you two arent careful your going to get banned." was NOT a threat. Just a simple, friendly conversational comment.

I'm tired of you stirring up the pot and playing the role you profess to dislike. If you want to participate on these forums, great. Nice to have you. If anyone has anymore comments about rudeness or name-calling. You can report the post to the moderators. If we/they feel a warning needs to be made--be it in public or private--we will deal with it.

Re: I knew he was blind BUT!

Hi everyone!
I'm not trying to stir up anything, infact I wish I had the option to delete this thread.

I honestly don't understand why quiet a few days later people are still going on about the fighting or snappy comments that were made, I made a few which I have said I regretted because now people will only remember now nasty I was and I'm really not like that at all.

Surely the fact that I took the advice people gave me should be enough to keep people happy , even though I paid a high price for it. (My rabbit died)
I allway's cared for my animals , someone said I didn't, cant remember who or where, I sent myself broke with vet bills, cried my eyes out quietly when by bun died, people thought I was being silly "its only a rabbit" etc.

I dont hold grudges, why do so many on here?
I sent a not-so-nice email to the admin because I was sincerely upset and for that I do Apologise! I really did think that people were just clutching at straws to have a go at me for anything they possibly could, I still think some were but most including the admin wernt. My mistake was not reading the rules prior to posting messages, as I had no idea what people were talking about.
Having said that, I think if members are going to take it upon themselves to dish out the rules, please explain.. dont bring education into it, it just sounds like your being nasty and who wants to listen to someone they think is insulting them??Not me.
Read nothing into this, I'm not referring to anyone or any threads in perticular.
I have made a concious effort to change bad habbits and havnt been told off since so I must assume I'm doing ok. (Bound to make a few spelling mistake's though sorry) I havnt got a dictionary ,seriously~

I have learn't alot about my piggies from here and some people have been a great help to me, others I think I will chose to ignore as they continue to slam me over old news.

Oh and about the yankie comment,, I dont even know why I really said it because my best friend is one! Nicest woman I've ever met so I'm an idiot but I allways stir her up over her accent etc and she never takes offence, I love her!

I hope you are all having a wonderful day,,,I am~
Hugs to everyone!

This wasnt posted to upset anyone...Im not mad, crazy, grumpy, hostile or anything.

Re: I knew he was blind BUT!

Oh GuineaGurl, I know how hard it must be for you losing your bunny. I lost my best friend in the whole world Kako a rabbit. He pasted in the middle of the night.. I even saw him having a sizire but I was half sleep and all the way across the room so didn't realize till the morning after rigamortis had set in. I'm still not quite over it, but I hope you feel better soon and maybe after a little while you could adopt a shelter bunny so the other rabbit can have a friend.
