I was off school sick the week we did genetics. Even after almost 2 years doing Biology along with my degree at University, I still have issues with it a few years later! Blah!

The first post is a link to a thread that defines a lethal as:

"A lethal guinea pig is a seriously deformed guinea pig which is caused by breeding roan or dalmation varieties to each other. Lethal guinea pigs are always white."

So yes, it was defined in the first post. Einstein is just delightful. I've been following his story on guinealynx, Salana, you're exceptionally dedicated to have seen him through what he's been through.

This thread clearly illustrates why guinea pigs shouldn't be bred merely to "better the breed" or at all, for that matter.

Magic Taco...I think you are being unfair. If you really had read the whole thread, you would have seen the links in the begining that gave all the information you would have needed. But yes, Salana did do a great job at explaining it.

You may have tried..."I have read the entire post and I am still a little confused." When this happens to me (and it happens often) I will say...talk to me like I'm a 5 year old. Sometimes, that is what it takes for me, and for a lot of people around here.

You can't blame the fact that you only have five friends on slap and Matt. That comment was totally uncalled for and unnecessary. Also it's considered yelling because you posted it in capital letters. I don't want to see this again.

Everyone else's explanation of a lethal pig is hard to understand. I've only heard of two kinds of genes ( the one that makes the little crest and another one but of course I've forgotten their names) and they're just expecting me to understand what all this is!

But slap, if you'd just told me what a lethal was I would have left you alone.

I can get really angry at people. Once I screamed at a girl that just thought I was wrong when i was very much right. When I get offended I can get so mad that I once was so close to kicking someone in the shins.

I was wondering where slaps name seemed to come into play, was thinking maybe from another post somewhere, but I think that again you hadn't been reading the information properly.

As I mentioned, and others had stated, if you had read the information already there, you would have been able to see and read about exactly what a "lethal" was, and if still a bit confused, could have just asked someone to explain it a bit more.

I hate to come across as harsh, and it was not my intention to, but I could not see how you would say there was no clear definition in the info already there - if you had just read the information, and asked some more questions if still a bit confused then it would not have ended up like this.

I could go on and on about how i'm right and there's nothing as clear as salana's post, but i would probably get banned.

i just did a google search and it let me to this site first. I am still trying
to find out what a lethal guinea pig. Why would google send me here when
I cannot find an answer? does anyone know or can they help me find out what a lethal pig is? TY
