I'm not sure what you mean; I'm still here. I've been posting on other threads, because my question was answered here and I had nothing else to add to the conversation.

I stated I'd prefer to agree to disagree, so I'm not going to cause further issues. (Besides what everyone said makes sense) I'd rather stay out of lime-light if you know what I mean!

I was being sarcastic. I was pointing out how silly bizzie'sdad's comment was by suggesting that because you disagreed with the mods that you were booted from the site, when obviously, you had not.

This site has more freedom of speech than most... go join some others, post some somewhat "offensive" things you've posted here, and see whether you get warned/suspended/banned. On another forum I said "Personally, I think its stupid to breeed rabbits when there's so many homeless ones, but do what you want" and got warned for being offensive. Had I said that here, I doubt I would've been.

Of course you wouldn't have gotten warned here. This is a pro adoption site. Now if you said here, "Personally, I think it is stupid to adopt, but do what you want". Now that would be an equal comparison, and yes I do think you would get warned for that, and rightfully so.

The place I said that on is pro adoption too (not nearly as much as this site though) but most of them have no problem with buying and breeding either.

Actually, those comments wouldn't have gotten any official warning here either. But, no doubt a number of members would have pounced on such a post, causing the inevitable insult slinging which would have resulted in a warning. I would prefer less pouncing and more discussion, but I can't control the maturity level of all the members. It's not the original statements that get people in trouble on this site, it's that they can't back up their position with logic or facts and so resort to insults and such to try to fight their way out.

I totally understand that cavyspirit. I think you all do an amazing job here and if most of those who feel insulted or stomped on would just look at who is doing the insulting rather than blaming it on the site, things would probably be a lot easier for you as admins and moderators. I think those who are adults will reason rather than attack. And I am sure many who do the attacking, do not feel they are doing so, but rather giving advice.

And I am not trying to insult anyone, because I feel many of those who do overdo it are great cavy owners and great members, but there is a right way and a wrong way to give advice.

Seriously? Get over yourself. She wasn't referring to you, but other situations that have come up on this forum. She was listing things she wouldn't do if in fact she did only the things she wanted to do.

If you were actually here for a reason OTHER than to stir up trouble, you might be able to look around and realize such simple, obvious things.

I'm pretty sure she wasn't talking specifically to you. And just for clarification, you cannot necessarily tell a persons age by their writing. Am I a child? I certainly can type and spell better than some of the adults. Why is this such a big deal, anyway? I'm intelligent enough to understand that I'm quite stupid. Incredibly so. But thats beside the point. This isn't that big of a deal. If I were you, I would just ignore it.

I think anyone in answers to direct references to someone would either have started their sentences with "bizziesdad" or even quote you (or that person they are referring to)... like I did in reply (and others above me).

That is the correct way to answer a question or a sentence started by the poster of the comment.

So, I do believe you have incorrectly accessed Salana's comments & really owe her a straight apology for misunderstanding.

P.S. That general person "kid" she refered to is someone else that may have been a recently banned member who is really a minor, has created multiple accounts & was making up stories on the forum; as other members besides me can probably vouched for.

If you are really her... then you would have been already banned.
