Thumbs down I believe guinea pigs/rabbits need space....

and ventilation

Huge glass terrarium

at the bottom she says what it's "perfect" for. I'm not an expert on bunnies but I'm pretty sure they need the same sort of space needs as guinea pigs. If not atleast ventilation. I messaged her and politely told her that I'm sure the terrarium was lovely, but not suitable for guinea pigs and rabbits because they needed space and ventilation.

I got this back

Quote:
ACTUALLY!!!! This Terrarium is Huge.... About 6ft long, There is the Space you so desperately talked about, and As for the "Ventilation" The lid can easily come off and be replaced by wire.

The person we got this off of had 7 bunnies in it. We just made it a hell of a lot better.

So unless your interested in buying the Terrarium then don't bother messaging back
/sigh
I'm tired of being polite

Sounds like the typical irresponsible pet owner to me. At least you tried. But you can't always blame the people. Really it's the "supplyers" fault. Maybe you could post a reply to it?

Re: I believe guinea pigs/rabbits need space....

Yeap!!!

Why they are called aquarium / terrarium???

But because they are good at holding "humidity" & "water". May be great for plants, fish, reptiles BUT not good for mammals... especially ones (bunnies, guinea pigs) that have similar body temperature like us.

Why can't people use common sense that why a glass petri dish is used to encourage bacteria growth or why humans do not live in a "glass" house???

The environment you/we humans) do not want to live in, please do not try to house that environment to our beloved GPs.

P.S. and at $300 plus... how many C&C cage can you built??? That and plus the vet visits money from the URI the GPs will almost definitely get from that. Geez... it is not even money "wise".

Some people just don't listen...if you feel like you tried your best, who knows, maybe she will come to her senses and join and do what is right for her pig. If she ever gets one (which if she plans on doing what she has said, I hope she never does!)
You can't get through to them all...
