APPALLED! Breeder in Australia - plus web link

HI Guys,

ok I've had it and I really feel people here would want to see how the incredible C&C Cages are being promoted by this woman and also what she is doing with her guinea pigs.

I'm Jess from the Australian Cavy Sanctuary guinea pig rescue org here in Australia. We currently have more than 400 homeless guinea pigs between our three shelters. We are located IN THE DISTRICT of this person who is doing this! She is breeding and selling constantly...selling pregnant sows, using the guinea pigs like a trade and like they are products, promotes breeding and her version of c&c cages and soon she has stated she wants to register as a guinea pig stud ( according rto her website ). One of our volunteers rescue two piggies of this woman recently. Both were heavily pregnant and were for sale and basically the woman had some guinea pigs in fishtanks, tiny c&c's and was talking of breedsing like it was trade to our volunteer. The volunteer was basiclly pretending she wanted to breed in order to find out how this woman runs and the woman was talking of getting animals off our volunteer for breeding and keeping in touch about her breeding animals...I think what she is doing is disguisting and would appreciate some support guys. ,Even in the way of an email if possible.

We are here at maximum capacity atm because of people like this and we are trying to promotes Teresa's amazing c&c cages while this person ONLY UP THE ROAD is doing the complete opposit. She knows our organisation exists and she would hopefully know it's because of backyard breeding and sellinjg increasing among other issues...

When i saw the latest c&c photos here i immediately thought of you Teresa...you'd be appalled!

and to make it worse they are solid sides!

the fact she has them outdoors aswell predators could break in so easily!

First of Kudos to you for rescuing. Honestly, this really doesn't suprise me. I do't mean to sound insensitive but she sounds like the typical discusting breeder. The link was removed but I can only imagine.

apologies i forgot we couldn't post weblinks here. To make matters worse they have a link to cavy cages here on their site so they obviously know how they should and need to be presented and used....severe ignorance to what's around them and to other organisations is all i can say. Self centred individual this one is. If they opened their eyes for one minute to see how many animals are needing homes because of people just like them who contribute to the problem directly maybe then they'd cut back and if they do want to breed then breed responsibly atleast and not like they are. ( Not saying i agree with breeding but am open to knowing their are some that will no matter what they read or know...so if this person sees this post maybe have a read of the stats of our organisation and other animals welfare orgs...go visit one of the shelters in person...you may not think you're contributing to the problem or may think it's none of your business but it IS your business and it's only you that can reconsider what you're doing to help find a SOLUTION to the situaiton and not add to the PROBLEM ).
