Oooooh this burns me up! As I was flagging Craigslist breeder ads, I came across the one I said was suspicious for the ACK registered German Shepherd. The photo seemed a bit odd, as this woman was claiming the dog had given birth prior to her obtaining her, yet the dog is so thin and her teats are drooping. So, I Google this woman's telephone number and lo and behold she has about five different ads on various websites for her purebred puppies. She has Chihuahuas, MinPins, Staffies, German Shepherds. She sells them for $300+. Through more Google searching I found a name and address. Obviously she is a backyard breeder and she has multiple breeds of dogs she is selling. Her other dogs, from the photographs, look like they are in far better shape than the poor German Shepherd. Would reporting her to the ASPCA do any good? I don't know if she's doing anything illegal, but it just burns me up that she is breeding heavens only knows how many different breeds of dogs in her house.

Re: Oooooh this burns me up! Yes, I would call the ASPCA just to have her checked out. Her dogs could be living in horrible conditions. At least, if she is checked out and things are bad, the athorities could go from there and hopefully shut her down.

Re: Oooooh this burns me up! I am going to contact the Georgia SPCA. I noticed on CL several people posted responses to the photos of the German Shepherd questioning the dog's obviously poor physical condition. The person who posted the ad later edited the ad to show only pictures that were blurry and one that was a cropped head shot.
