I read a poem similar to this about dogs and decided to change it so that it was about Guinea Pigs. Out of Sight How can I be so forgotten and left here out of sight, My cage, it is so dirty and it gets so cold at night. I never get to play, they just don't seem to care, The family hasn't the time - to them I am not there. I don't know what I've done to be treated in this way, They said to me they loved me, in their hearts I'd always stay. They took me out on the lawn, every day they gave me treats, My cage was always spotless - it was the home you could not beat. But now I stay forgotten like a dusty toy up on a shelf, I thought I'd be loved forever, not left here by myself. Please tell me what I've done to them so I can make it right, Tell me why they wanted me then left me out of sight.

Re: Out of sight That's so sad... What's up with all of the depressing poems all of a sudden? Very sad...

Re: Out of sight It's reality--conveyed in a poetic manner. Thanks, I've been saying that a lot lately.

Re: Out of sight I understand. They're just so depressing, that sometimes it's hard to read it all at once, ya know?
