Angry Pig put in microwave?!

I was browsing the listings on gpan.net and came across this horrible one: "Was once put in a microwave by owners little cousin. Caused one foot to i guess burned off, ears were badly burned (hole's formed), wound formed in the middle top part of body (close to neck), furr burned. After all this she recovered, wound healed (scar can be felt under furr), foot grew back, and her ears were ok, not to mention she was still able to give birth and she DID 5 lil piglets perfect health. What can i say this moms a trooper." Who lets these kids be unsupervised?! This is the link: Piggies for Adoption in North America

Re: Pig put in microwave?!

That's enough to make me sick. What ignorant people. I assume from the "I guess.." in the statements that she didn't even bother to take the pig to the vet after her kids tortured the poor animal. That and the whole thing about the pig's foot growing back. Guinea pigs are not starfish, they don't grow back lost body parts! It should be painful to be so stupid and negligent.

Re: Pig put in microwave?!

Let's see.

First, they allowed children to microwave a pig.
Second, they left the pig to naturally recover.
Third, they used the pig to breed when it recovered.

Or maybe BREEDER is supposedly a good person who rescued the pig from the horrible owner who microwaved it.

Re: Pig put in microwave?!

Visited the link and found out that "kids lost interest." Now I know that can be a Blessing.

And another horrible idea that I can't accept; I am sure that the pig was NOT pregnant at the time of microwave.

Re: Pig put in microwave?!

What is even worse than that.....

.........some guy microwaved his 2 month old daughter last year. Last I had heard she was in critical condition and was recovering from internal burns and burns to her left side. And when looking for an update, I found another case from a couple years ago.

Sick, sick people.

Re: Pig put in microwave?!

Yup - I have to agree, it's the same. In fact, studies have shown that people who abuse animals move on to abusing people. If only the laws were more stringent on animal abuse and the punishments more severe, perhaps there wouldn't be this mentality that it was "okay" to practice on animals before committing a "true" crime by abusing people.

Sick, that parent should be fined and those kids punished big time.

Re: Pig put in microwave?!

that is so so horrible and sick. I cannot imagine the torture that the pig and baby had to go through. What is even worse(only because the animal actually died) was that, a boy in my school, about 8th grade, put a cat in a microwave so long, he killed it. Apparently it exploded....I asked him. I beat him up when I found this out.

An eighth grader should know right from wrong, at least enough to know that that's completely WRONG. Where were his parents? Where was his head?

Re: Pig put in microwave?!

Ugh. I'm starting to think people should have a permit for a microwave! A friend recently told me about an elderly woman who thought her four kittens were cold. Her solution? Popped them into the microwave, and basically cooked them.

If not worse, because only a human would put an animal in a microwave. Sometimes I think our supposed intelligence only lends itself to do more harm.

Re: Pig put in microwave?!

I think that is terrible!
Who would leave their children alone with an animal, with out supervision!?
I feel bad for the little piggy.
I am glad the pig is ok.

Re: Pig put in microwave?!

Animals exploding in the microwave -- Doesn't happen. Living creatures cook from the inside out like meat does when some pathetic loser decides its a good idea to pop them in the microwave. Anyone who brags about blowing up their pet in the microwave is just being a sick, lying jerk who wants attention and needs to be set straight on what torture something being mircrowaved would go through before it finally dies.

Thats a good point. Like the Micheal Vick deal with his dog fighting. If he did that to people, he would be executed orput in jail for life but with dogs he only is going in jail for 5 years. That is so dumb! Every animal's life is the same.
