I was messaged on Preloved today to look at this advert in case I could supply them with the pigs! I have only ever said on their that people shouldn't breed so god knows why I was messaged...anyway please look it looks pretty worrying and demanding...and reply if you can, I'm not sure what to put back to that if I'm honest. Why must they need those colours? Eurgh..

Um... sounds like a breeder to me, as they want pigs under 1 1/2 yrs. old--any older and they couldn't be bred.... I simply wouldn't answer; that's just me, though.

Sounds like a breeders to me since they are demanding that they be certain colors and that they must be under 1 1/2 years. They never said that they wanted a different sex pair either. Maybe they ran out of "stock".

I messaged them back saying they sound very much like a breeder, I dont support them because of the over population etc do not contact me again :]

It sounds like they are trying to replace one, which means if they are a 1/1/2 and under then they killed theirs before it was its time.

Someone on a similar site in my area is offering to take in pragnant guinea pigs to give them a good home. Now call me cynical but that just screams to me that they'll sell the babies on. On the other hand their second advert said they take in unwanted guineas and are happy to take pregnant ones of people's hands if they can't cope, but somehow I'm not convinced.
