Contrary to Easter-time hype, rabbits and small children aren't a good match. The exuberance of even the gentlest toddler is stressful for the sensitive rabbit.

Children like a companion they can hold, and cuddle. That's why stuffed animals are so popular. Rabbits are not passive and cuddly. They are ground-loving creatures who feel frightened and insecure when held and restrained. Know the Facts.

-They have a lifespan of 10 years and require as much work as a dog or cat.
-Your home must be <A HREF=http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/rabbit-proofing.html>bunny-proofed</A>, or Thumper will chew cords and furniture.
-Rabbits must be <A HREF=http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/spay-neuter.html>neutered or spayed</A> or they will mark your house with feces and urine.
-They should <A HREF=http://www.rabbit.org/faq/sections/housing.html>live indoors</A>, as members of the family.

I know it looks wierd but I typed up the HTML code that will work on Craigslist. In the end you should get a post that looks a little like this House Rabbit Society Rabbit Care Guide It won't have the logo at the top or fine print at the bottom and it will have a clickable banner. I'll put up my post once it goes into affect but it's not up yet. All of the info was taken from the HRS website and there are several links that take people straight to the HRS site so all should be good and I know HRS won't mind people spreading the message.

Well it may not be against Craigslist rules but it does not mean I cannot flag them. I just feel that if small cages are advertised as say a guinea pig cage, but I know its way to small, the person that was going to look at the ad may look online and find this website for example. Maybe some find it wrong but I don't want to think of a animal in an inappropriate cage so I flag them, I understand if others won't.
