Re: Humane Society "Downer" Cow Abuse Case I'm sorry my browser froze as I posted this and it doesn't seem to have gone through. Here is the link to the case, I couldn't bring myself to watch the video, I'm sure it's bad..they are trying to spread the word about this. Downer Cows

Re: Humane Society "Downer" Cow Abuse Case I just watched that and it is so horrible how they treat the downed cows. They were dragging one of the cows by one leg. That must have hurt so badly. How can humans do this to an animal. At least euthanize it humanely, don't drag it with ropes and fork lifts. ![]()

Re: Humane Society "Downer" Cow Abuse Case I know I don't understand it myself, I have watched a couple of these undercover videos previously, but they are just too graphic for me. I was just trying to spread the word about this case, because I know many of us here are concerned for the welfare of farm animals. I can't bear to think that these cows are abused in horrible ways, and then served to our children for lunch. It's a little nauseating to be honest. I don't really know what else to do besides pass the word on. At least the truth is out there, I think it's better to have the knowledge than to live naively and never know that it happens. Even if it is disturbing in so many ways.
