Giftcards?

If you get a giftcard, the money's been spent already, therefore the store profits from it if you don't use it, so either go use it, or give it to a shelter or a rescue!

If you are really against using it, id say try Cardavenue: Gift Card Exchange, Discounted Gift Cards, Gift Certificates, Gift Card Swap or another gift card exchange website. However then some people here will say (correctly) that you are just helping someone ELSE shop at petco.


And also, if you give it to a rescue, by the same logic, those people who go to petco to buy needed supplies are "telling" Petco that selling animals it's okay. We all know it's not true, but what is the difference between us going to Petco and a Rescue? The store is getting the same business. It would be really nice to donate your gift, but on principle alone, Petco is gtting the same message.

The only difference is that often when a rescue uses a petstore for adoption days, they will purchase supplies that they need for the animals while they are there. If a gift card is donated to them, they can keep their own money in the rescue/shelter.

Ok, I dont think I got any. My friend was going to, but I saw something I liked at a store so she is getting that. I was going to tell her if she wants to get me a gift card, I would see if I could get one to Drs Foster and Smith. But Thanks, because I was'nt sure.
