| Google guinea pig When I first got my pigs I did a google search. Google includes some images in normal searches and two out of the three images where of pigs as a prepared food dish that I found out later is common on other cultures. That is all changed now. Now when you google guinea pig you get two cute pigs and a C&C cage. The C&C cage image does not like here but to a rescue. Wikipedia cavy spirit, this site and guinea linx are the top links. Go us! Hopefully more people who google guinea pig will find this place. |

| Re: Google guinea pig I don't think it's sick. People have been eating guinea pigs for tens of thousands of years before we domesticated them for pets. I myself will never try it, but it is a South America custom that will probably never change. I had one friend from Argentina come over a couple years ago. He took a look at my guinea pig, and he's like "I used to eat those". |
