Rubbish. Absolutely untrue.

I am confused. You are a wildlife officer, study at Gatton AND drive home on weekends?

I assumed that because i read more of them that VJ does most of that stuff?
Making assumptions normally gets many people into trouble around here. It's a generally good idea not to make assumptions. Instead just ask questions and we will give you the answer.

Do you have any links to the law saying this. I find it hard to believe that unless there were so many pigs as to cause major sanitation or health issue for the community, that someone is going to be seriously prosecuted or jailed for being a BYB.

You? Android? Hmm, I think I missed something somewhere. And I'm not at all hysterical, most of the time!

I seconded that. If the law is that strict, a lot of people would have been in jail by now.

You need to open your eyes and see the effect of 'backyard breeding' because you obviously don't know much about it at all.

There is regulation pending in the Aussie parliament (Clover Moore bill) in NSW that would essentially cause it to be illegal to sell mammals in pet shops if it passes. It would only allow recognized breeders to raise and sell animals. Maybe she thought it already passed.

She is located in QLD and that regulation is at the moment for NSW.
