What little we did for the animals there was because we didn't want to have some "crazy animal lovers" or heaven forbid PETA come in to check up on the animals and run their mouth about things they know nothing about. (rolls eyes and lays on the sarcasm) Because all the associates knew TONS about animals. And PETA come on, what do they know about taking care of animals. But when it came to counting dead crickets so that we had an accurate count for shrinkage, man that was serious business. It is always about the bottom line.

At least all I have to do at the supermarket to keep track of shrink is scan out some breads, and type numbers in my Excel spreadsheet. I would hate to count dead crickets!
