I'm not sure if this has been posted before but this is the most HORRIBLE thing I've EVER seen!!! I'm sitting here so angry I want to personally go there and do the same to those horrible people! The poor thing crying out of pain... I can't believe how CRUEL and utterly STUPID some people can be!!!

Was that supposed to be FUNNY? It reminds me of my old neighbor who would get drunk and then invite his friends to watch his amazing cat who "liked" to swim. He would throw this cat into the lake and the cat would swim instead of drowning! Amazing, huh? This was many years ago and the cat took matters into its own paws and ran away. What I saw was someone washing a piggy the way I would wash a pair of socks. If you thought all the noise was a child laughing, you might want to listen again because a lot of those noises were cries of terror from the pig.

This gave me a great laugh too!

I was just wincing for the majority of it but the last 20 seconds or so really were terrible. The way they were hosing the piggie off, tipping it this way and that, being held one handed, hose over the face, and you could hear the poor piggie squealing and the legs going...heartbreaking for the poor little pigster.

Even so I could tell just by the video that guy was handling that pig way too roughly.

During the shower part at the end, I believe that is the pig with the short squeals. The earlier squealing /laughing is a child. I've only had piggies for six years but I've had kids for 31 years. My piggies react to that portion of the video too.

You have owned cavy's for almost 20 YEARS and you don't see a problem?

It says in the video description that it was their friend's video, and not theirs. I still think they should've AT LEAST told their friend not to do that.

As seagirl96 said, If you owned guinea pigs for 20 years how could you not tell what's wrong with how these people handle this pig? Unless you handle all your pigs in this way and think it's completely normal to treat your pig in such manner in which case I'm glad I'm not one of your pigs. Because the way these people are handling this pig is too rough, cruel, improper and dangerous for the pig. I sincerely hope you don't treat your pigs this way.

Another thing...I listened again and the squealing of terror and pain at 1:08 is NOT made by a child it clearly comes from the pig, You'd think someone who owned guinea pigs for 20 years would be able to tell the difference!

I think she didn't film it but that she got the video from her friend and wanted to convince her that it was wrong to handle a pig this way. What I find most disturbing is some of the comments of people who think this is normal or funny.

I replied to it.

The whole bath seems rushed. It's just like washing a teddy - he's not at all bothered about what's in his hands, he just wants it clean! No consideration for living things smaller than himself whatsoever.

I can agree also that I do hear a guinea pig screaming. For the majority of the video it's the kids but there is definitely a guinea pig scream at about 1 minute, 10 secs.
