| Re: Tss.. So Called "Expert" Goodness, that person is stupid. I was so annoyed, I just emailed the website telling them how un-informed they are. If I were a guinea pig, if someone put me in a cage that small, I would wheek untill they got me out, and when they put me back in, I'd do it again. |

| Re: Tss.. So Called "Expert" Mostly everything on that hamster video is good - It just seems to me she needs to be educated on cage sizes. Also, those hidey houses (Or 'Hide boxes' as she calls them) are much to small for a full grown syrian to even FIT in. If you saw in the background of the hamster video, that dog was being kept in merely a 1'x1' cage area. I would suggest that animal hospital to change thier name from Extra Care Animal Hospital to Minimal Care Animal Hospital. I was at Meijer the other day looking at their pigs (NOT that I would EVER buy one there, I just like to watch them when I go grocery shopping) and I saw Vit C drops in the water. I also took a look at a free pamphlet they had on guinea care. It actually recommended putting guineas in AQUARIUMS! Why o why would a grocery store sell pets, especially when they are so ignorant?! |

So Called "Expert" My favorite part was when she said that guinea pigs make squealing sounds when they are scared or upset. when the poor guinea pig started squealing she added that they do it when they are excited too. I know this is true, but she obviously added it when the guinea pig wheeked. Ha! Classic NON-expert!  |
