OCCH used to hold adoption days in Petsmart, but not for a number of years now. We now do them in a Petstore that does not sell any animals of any kind. Therefore, no conflict of interest.

The best way to stop it is to NOT shop there. There are so many stores that do not sell pets but still pet supplies that we need to be supporting. Everyone from Target to small mom and pop stores in rural areas. It would be simple but effective way to say your not going to take it anymore.

That is what I do. If I have to I even order online. If you have a town large enough for a Petsmart, then you have plenty of other options I'm sure.
