| Another mis informed rescue! I found a rescue near my house that is trying to adopt a rabbit and GP out together! The site says that they are "best buddies!". This makes me angry that a rescue is misinforming potenital adopters about the proper care GPs need. P.S. The rescue is called Romeo Small Animal Placement. |

| Re: Another mis informed rescue! It's a common mistake that many rescues and shelters make. Even the House Rabbit Handbook (the bible for good rabbit owners), has a chapter on housing GPS and rabbits together. All you can do is print up or forward them all the info about why it's not a good idea (including the thread about my Gumbo--whos best buddy" rabbit savaged him) and hope they rethink their policies. |
