I show rabbits..now cavy's..help!

I Show rabbits but at the royal winter fair i came homw with a cavie..ill show him to gr.boar parti color smooth coat! can i have tips...how they judge themm..All the info can be usefull! please and thankfull!

You will not get any tips on how to show a cavy or any other animal here. This forum is anti breeding and anti showing, as they go hand in hand.

I find it disturbing that you bought a guinea pig on impulse and are asking for info on showing it rather than proper care.

This forum does not support showing.

It does, however, support doing research on the proper care of guinea pigs.

I am so sorry.I will not be showing my piggy.I have read some arugments and he is better off.How can you forgive me.My first 20hr on the forum I have maked a foul of my self,if you cant forgive me then i will leave the forum,no fuss.Thank you for your time.

There are thousands of homeless piggies everywhere (and there are HUNDREDS in Ontario), and breeding them contributes to the overpopulation problem, because with every new baby born, that's one homeless pig who doesn't get a home. People who show animals are often breeders who do not take proper care of them and subject them to all sorts of cruelties, which is why we are anti-breeding.

Stick around, learn learn learn, and then spread the word

I'm glad you decided not to support the breeding/showing scene. Don't feel bad, you are doing what is right for the piggy. Stick around, you can leatn alot here. I am new to guinea pigs and have gotten a lot of support.

Please don't show rabbits. You aren't showing guinea pigs, the same arguments can be made for rabbits.

Depending on the kind of tips you're looking for - it is a good idea to go to the main forum page, and look down the list of topics. The stickies have lots of good info.
