I did a search on the internet for hamster diet to give a friend of mine ideas on what to feed her new hamster. After browsing several pages I came upon a website, called PetsorFood... Is this for REAL?!? The creator of this site is a "genius" (according to him, anyways) and he provides all sorts of animal meat (including live animals) for people willing to pay the price. He says some of them he gets from animal shelters!!! Ugh, I'm sooo nauseous... He sells kitten, dog, HAMSTER among other meats or live animals for eating. He also claims some guy found some presumed to be extinct dodo birds and breeds them and sells them to him! Omigosh I just started to cry... this says he sells CHIHUAHUAS for "our grade school buyers". Please, for the sake of my peace of mind, someone tell me this is a joke, however tasteless it may be.

Thank goodness it's a joke! I believed it because I know people really eat dogs and cats in other countries, so thanks for clarifying. Some "eccentric" people might want to try things like that for real, though, and I wouldn't put it past them to get rare animals illegaly for consumption.

Yes I do think it's a joke site- a very pathetic one though. I believe someone tried ordering and they didn't get replies or something. Oh well, it's not real, so doesn't matter.
