World renowned designers use PONY and BABY SEAL skins to make handbags, which are then priced over 1,000 U.S. dollars and are so acclaimed by the public that they even have waiting lists for them. They also use camel hair for coats and ostrich and peacock feathers for accesories and baby goats for gloves. Besides all that there is the use of furs and leather from all sorts of animals. It's a shame that these products are considered luxurious and valuable because they use rare animals for the production of them. I love high fashion, but I wish for a day where it wasn't a synonym for animal cruelty and exploitation and I'll strive to become a pro-animal rights fashion designer. |
