I am glad to see that you are indeed, doing your resarch, it was presumptuous of us to assume you where not! Hopefully by now you can see that guinea pigs require a lot more care then you thought they did, and are now making better choices... or better yet, not getting a pig at all!

What I want to say to you, if you haven't already gotten your cavy, is please rescue one and don't get one from a store. I lost one of my babies and she came from a store. She probably was sick when I got her and I didn't even have her for 30 days. I know that I didn't have her for that long, but I did love her and I'll miss her.

There are plenty of people who can help you and are willing to help you and I hope that you get all the help you need so that you can give a very blessed cavy a forever home.

Actually if she had a change in her attitude toward animals that would be a different story. And I am one that has endless hope for everyone. I hope even though she reacted defensively, that we planted some seeds in her head that turns her around some day. The sooner the better.
