| 40 pigs in 4 days If anyone ever questioned the reason Resues are needed, all you have to do is look at what has happened in So Cal lately. In the last 4 days, 40 pigs have been dumped. One shelter took in 12 and the other 28. How can anyone still think it is ok to breed? I don't have all the details, but this looks like a breeder dump to me. Still think it's ok to let the kiddies "experience the miracle of birth"? | Re: 40 pigs in 4 days Two more pigs dumped in a Cali shelter. These are unweened babies. These must be the results of pigs bought as Christmas gifts from pet stores. That means that the shelters are going to be even more inundated with GP's. All the pregnant ones that were bought from sotres are now having their babies. |
